This lovely roasting pan, made in Italy, features a brass ring on one end.
Established in 1920 this foundry in Italy produces beautiful handcrafted cookware from aluminium.
Aluminium is the best conductor of heat next to copper but more cost effective.
This aluminium is certified 99.5% pure which means it is completely safe to cook in. However please do not store acidic foods, such as tomato based dishes, in these pans for any period of time.
